Hello everyone,
I have a question regarding the CVE of vCenter,
the fixed version is vCenter 7.0u3m, is this compatible with Omnistack 4.1 version?
Thank you

SolutionHi,
vCenter 7u3M was released on 22nd June and so far hasn't been included in the OmniStack Interoperability Guide.
As of now, vCenter 7u3L is the latest supported version and is compatible with 4.1.x.
However, based on page 40 of Interop Guide (https://support.hpe.com/hpesc/public/docDisplay?docLocale=en_US&docId=a00117319en_us), I have added a snip. Based on this, you may upgrade to vCenter 7u3M although you must accept that new/unlisted patch versions have not yet been qualified by HPE SimpliVity.

Re: SimpliVity compatibility
Hi Aditya,
Thanks for the useful information you have provided, However, I want to know if vCenter 3um is safe to use in Omnistack 4.1.x. Since this is the fixed version of this VMSA-2023-0014 (vmware.com).
Thank you.

Re: SimpliVity compatibility
As Aditya has said, you can upgrade to VCSA 7.0 U3m. SimpliVity Engineering is qualifying this update with (supported with 4.1.1U1, 4.1.2, 4.1.3, and 4.2.0). It is also compatible but not specifically verified with 4.1.0 & 4.1.0U1.
Next week there will be an update to the Interop Guide containing this information.
Cheers!

Re: SimpliVity compatibility
vCenter 7 u3M is now included in the Interoperability Guide and it's compatible from OmniStack 4.1.0 onwards.

You may use Upgrade Planner (page 49) if you're planning an upgrade of SimpliVity nodes.
