Re: Simplivity Factory Reset takes a long time
@JHP1 Can you let me know the method of factory reset. Is it performed by network or via USB?

Re: Simplivity Factory Reset takes a long time
2 hours is not an overly long time if for instance you are attempting to factory reset over a WAN.It is allways preferable to use a bootable physical usb with with the deploy installer for resets to avoid overly long reboot times.

Re: Simplivity Factory Reset takes a long time
Depending on how you are performing the factory reset.
Recommended method will be, please have the image in the physical USB and connect to the rear of the node. As per the notification the process is almost completed and we have to wait.

Re: Simplivity Factory Reset takes a long time
I would recomend to use the physical USB for doing reset as reset using n/w will consume lot of time.

Re: Simplivity Factory Reset takes a long time
Approximately around 30 to 45 minutes (normal scenario)
Please refer the below guide

Re: Simplivity Factory Reset takes a long time
I've done both ways - network and USB, and if you can use USB it is so much quicker!! When doing it over the network I've had to leave them overnight.
