I am trying to install Simplivity 4.1.0 plugin, into my vCenter, which is 6.7 U3l, per the interoperability guide, it should work, but when I try to install it I get access denied. The process I followed was:
- Upload the file HPE-SimpliVity-Plug-in-for-vSphere-Client-linux-x64-4.1.0.527.run to the VCSA under the /tmp folder via WinSCP
- Putty into the VCSA as root, run the command shell
- cd to /tmp, chmod -x HPE-SimpliVity-Plug-in-for-vSphere-Client-linux-x64-4.1.0.527.run to enable execution
- run ./HPE-SimpliVity-Plug-in-for-vSphere-Client-linux-x64-4.1.0.527.run and when I try to install I get permission denied
- Is there something I missed or am doing wrong?
thanks,

Re: Simplivity Plugin for vCenter - Issue with install
That worked, however now Im geting an error after I add the email saying:
Warning: Failed to connect to the vCenter server.
I KNOW for a fact the vCenter root password I entered does absolutely work.
