SimpliVity Federation with a Single vCenter

Hi,

planning a SimpliVity environment with a vCenter and MVA on location X, it is possible to deploy a SimpliVity cluster on location X. Assuming this is the only federation that can be created in this vCenter. The Federation network will be in a dedicated network for location X, Y and Z and both federation and storage traffic is not connected between the locations. Is it also possible to deploy SimpliVity clusters on location Y and location Z that don't have a L2 connection to location X, while this is being managed by the MVA that communicates with the OmniStack hosts and OVC by means of L3 management network ?

Hello @Convergo

I think you might be looking into a hub n' spoke network topology. Check this link for details on this type of network topology (Page 12):

How many nodes are you planning to install? The MVA is not really required if the number of nodes is under 32.
