Support of image based vSphere Lifecycle Manager and vSphere 9
Hey there,
because the old baseline based lifecycle manager is deprecated for some time now, i was wondering when simplivity will support the new image basesd lifecycle manager? Are there any plans when this will be supported? Are there also any infos available when vSphere 9 will be available/supported?
Regards
Peter

Re: Support of image based vSphere Lifecycle Manager and vSphere 9
(Are there any plans when this will be supported?)
Please confirm if you mean by HPE or vmWare/Broadcom?
(i was wondering when simplivity will support the new image basesd lifecycle manager?)
As a SimpliVity support rep vmWare/Broadcom applications are supported by their team for the most part unless the specifically bought vmWare support though HPE.
(Are there also any infos available when vSphere 9 will be available/supported?)
Available as of: "VMware vSphere 9, along with VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) 9.0, was released on June 17, 2025."
Please verify your questions related to "support" of vmWare/Broadcom applicaitons for me to further assist.
I work at HPE

Re: Support of image based vSphere Lifecycle Manager and vSphere 9
Of course i was asking when HPE / Simplivity will support the image based lifecycle management for patching simplivty hosts with vmware updates.
Is there a roadmap when vSphere 9 will show up for HPE Simplivity?
