Hi team
I know this question has been asked a couple of times before but not sure if it's had a concise answer previously.
When upgrading a VCSA (that manages a SimpliVity cluster) from 6.5 to 6.7 do I need just follow the normal upgrade procedures from VMware? The procedure will effectively deploy a new VCSA, copy all the data across, powerdown the old VCSA and give the new VCSA the same identity as the old.
I accept that I may need to re-install the vCenter plug-in (or is that also copied across) but I want ot make sure there isn't anything else that should be done either before or after the VCSA upgrade??
many thanks

SolutionHi @jlangmead ,
If you are upgrading the existing vCenter then your plan looks good. For the safer side, you can keep a snapshot of the existing vCSA.

Re: VCSA 6.5 to 6.7 upgrade for SimpliVity
We completed this earlier this year, all we had to do was resintall the plugin after the upgrade.
