Can anyone advise me whether this fibre channel tape drive https://www.serverworlds.com/hp-c0k97a-esl-g3-lto-6-6650-8gb-fc-tape-drive-706799-001-8-00976-02/ Would work as a stand alone backup tape drive on a PC running Windows 11 and Retrpsoect backup software?
Restrospect tell me that they support fibre channel drives, and I presume that if I fit a fibre channel card into he PC this will work??? https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B000E891N0/ref=sspa_dk_detail_3?psc=1&pd_rd_i=B000E891N0&pd_rd_w=OSc9p&content-id=amzn1.sym.15c0cc83-c6c5-4d44-aa3d-0de17a9f3682&pf_rd_p=15c0cc83-c6c5-4d44-aa3d-0de17a9f3682&pf_rd_r=FTDNV3JKQ0RGZR1D8BP4&pd_rd_wg=mxMdr&pd_rd_r=45ac4279-9665-4663-8530-784f2a1cabd4&s=electronics&sp_csd=d2lkZ2V0TmFtZT1zcF9kZXRhaWw
