FC connection problem
FC connection problem (Qlogic QLE2692-SR-CK network card with 16 GB dual port
FC HBA, PCIe Gen3 x8, multi-mode optics SR LC) to the HP MSA 2060 FC Server. There is no indication and no response.
Transceiver Shortwave Transceiver HP C8R24B 16 GB
Set of 4 pcs. only for MSA2050/2052 (Q1J00A, Q1J01A,
Q1J02A, Q1J03A)
2M Premier Flex OM4+ LC Optical Cable/LCD Display Optical cable (for 8/16 GB devices)
replace BK839A, 656428-001
Or does this server need a specific vendor FC?

Re: FC connection problem
Hi,
I believe that the FC HBA card is SN1100Q.
SFP and cable seems to be compatible.
Please provide the following information:
1. Is the FC Link down on all the 8 controller host ports as reported from SMU(web management interface of MSA)?
2. Please log in to server ilo, click on system information > network tab. Check whether any of the FC HBA link reports status as up.
Update the MSA controller firmware to the latest version IN110P002(if not done already) after saving current logs.
IN110P002 firmware has a fix related to FC link.
Install 4.1.34.0 version driver if the HBA card is SN110Q and server operating system is ESXi
You might need to log a support case for detailed investigation of debug logs if these suggestions do not help.
