FCoE Configuration on HPE FF 5940 with Synergy VC F8 40Gb module

Hi,

We are trying to configure FCoE on HPN 5940 FF IRF stacked switches.

The switches are connected to Synergy VC F8 40Gb module (2 ports)

We have followed the steps to make the HPN 5940 switch with FCF configuration in the below link - Pg 293

However the Oneview/Composer in Synergy is not recognizing these FCoE ports from the switches.

Has anyone done this configuration before. Please share your thoughts and inputs.

Hi,

It appears to be a HBA issue ( Iam assuming the servers use Emulex HBA).

Kindly enter the BIOS of the HBA,select a port and check the settings ,refer the product documentation on the specifications of HBA which needs to be configured and make the changes and then reboot the server.
