I have HPE SN2410M Q6M27A 24SFP28 4QSFP28 P2C Switch returned from demo contract and we would like to reset the password and restore default configuration for the next customer.
I have the attached menu when booting the switch.
I assume the default OS login is admin admin outlined in the manual.
Not sure if we need to go to command line which requires login as well. I looked through several manuals and I couldn't see anything regarding resetting this switch. If no one knows the answer then I will try HPE support.

Re: Query: HPE SN2410M Password Reset / Factory Default
Thanks for info, however I am not seeing anything in either document about resetting the password through the (CLI) command line interface.

I just realized this ended up in MSA Storage forum? Should I start a new thread or can I move this to:

SolutionHi Eggman_2112,
On the switch, the reset button is located on the rear side next to the fan status LEDs. This reset button requires a tool to be pressed.
To reset the system, the CPU of its management board, and the “admin” password, push the reset button and keep it pressed for at least 15 seconds. When using a MLNX-OS-based system, this should allow you to enter without a password and set a new password for the user “admin”
