The available commands are: firmwareCommit firmwareRestore firmwarecommit firmwarerestore
I also tried via ESC during startup:
Hit ESC to stop autoboot: 0
1) Start system.
2) Recover password.
3) Enter command shell.
Option?
) Start system.

I have not been able to.
I would like to clear the configuration, upload new firmware.
Currently it has Image Name: Linux-2.6.14.2 on it.

Re: HPE SN3000B - factory reset
Hi,
Strange, I had nearly the same problem a month ago, the brand-new B-Switch (with no Setup done) stopped like this when booting:
sh-4.3#
sh-4.3# login
(none) login: admin
Login incorrect
Now, I don't know, either I pressed ESC at that point or entered exit, and only then did the switch finish booting and everything continued as normal.
Due to lack of time, I couldn't do a more detailed investigation into the cause and then it disappeared in my Mind.
But if this isn't the only switch, the behavior seems pretty strange to me.
Is your Switch also new, out of the Box, or an older one?
Cali

Re: HPE SN3000B - factory reset
HI,
Thanks for your answer
I have 2 switches. The one with the problem, is refurbished by the manufacturer.
I'm looking for a procedure to reload the firmware. The available commands are: firmwareCommit firmwareRestore firmwarecommit firmwarerestore
Unfortunately, it only has the comnedes that are given in the application.
I will still try after the boot when I get SH-2.04# to use the ESC key.
Thank you for your support
