Re: Question regarding HA/Stacking/IPL on a SN2010M

Hello!

When configuring two SN2010M switches with Inter-Peer Link (IPL), they won’t be managed as a single unit like traditional stacking. Instead, IPL is used to create a Multi-Chassis Link Aggregation Group (MLAG), which allows the switches to work together for redundancy and load balancing1. Each switch maintains its own management and configuration, but they share traffic loads and provide failover capabilities.

Hope this helps!

Re: Question regarding HA/Stacking/IPL on a SN2010M

What about firmware upgrades on these 2 switches while configured with IPL ?

Can it be done one at the time as 2 separate units ?

Thank you.
