Displaying CDP in Vmware with Synergy 12000 frame
Hi,
Is there any way to pass through CDP information to individual server blades and display in VMware vmnic cdp?
CDP is enabled in both directions on the vmhost.
Thanks.

Re: Displaying CDP in Vmware with Synergy 12000 frame
Hello,
Synergy frame uses Virtual connect / Mellanox switches as chassis switch, not cisco switches.
Hence the CDP information will not be passed to individual servers.
I believe this is applicable only when NICs are directly connected to Cisco switch.
However you could try enabling it using the steps mentioned in the below document.

Hope this helps.
