HPE Synergy Add Interconnects question
I've got an existing Synergy enclosure group that's got 2 Virtual Connect SE 16Gb FC Module for Synergy setup in two Logical Interconnects and a single Logical Interconnect Group and I want to add two more FC interconnects (one to each Logical Interconnect). I've added the new interconnects but I cannot find a way to get the two new interconnects to be able to add to the existing Logical Interconnects or Group.
Anyone done this in the past?

Re: HPE Synergy Add Interconnects question
Typically, you would have a single LIG for the VC FC config (module bay and uplinks and parameters) and when the LE is created or updated to match the EG, you get one LI with a single pair of VC FC modules per LI. Usually, that means one pair of VC FC modules per frame, each of those pairs is an LI, sharing the same LIG (or optionally separate LIGs if they are not configured the same).
You need to share what placement you're attempting to design. The expected sequence would be to modify the EG to have the new modules represented by placing the LIG somewhere, then use update from group on the LE.

Re: HPE Synergy Add Interconnects question
This sounds like you started with a Single LIG Non-Redudant (A-side) LIG and created 2 LIs from that.
Now you are wanting to add and additonal module to each enclosure?
That would require and additonal LIG (B-side) and adding that to the EG in the correct ICM bay would create 2 more LIs.
So you would end up with 2 LIGs, and 4 LIs.
There is no way to merge a non-redundant LI into a redundant LI without remove and recreate.
Else something else, post screenshots or more details of current config.
thanks-
