HPE Synergy Composer Demonstration Appliance unable to activate different schematic

Dear HPE Team,

I am unable to change the default encl_schematic of the HPE Synergy Composer Demonstration Appliance from 3 enclosure (default config) to 1 enclosure via the URl https://appliance-ip/dcs-status.

The deployment guide suggests that we must do it on a freshly deployed appliance, before the network configuration step and hardware discovery. to do this connect to the appliance using the temporary assigned IP address: point a Web browser. But what is the temporary ip address the info is missing in the guide.(screenshot is attached).

Hence we can only access the dcs-status url (https://appliance-ip/dcs-status) only after the inital ip configuration and hardware discovery is  completed. But when we try to change the encl_schematics, the simulator fails with lots of error on different components such as enclosure,compute models.

Please guide how to access the dcs-status URL to change the encl_schematics on a fresh appliance .

My environment is Esxi.

Hello,

When the DCS appliance is first started it will attempt to grab an IP from the DHCP server. The IP address is listed in the "Summary Tab" in vCenter. If there is no DHCP server on your network then you won't have that temporary IP. 

I am able to access the dcs-status page even after the appliance has been configured.
