Hello HPE,
What are the correct steps onto upgrading a FC HBA card from 16 GB to 32 GB on a SY 660 GEN10 compute module?
- Put the server into maintenance mode.
- Power off the server.
- Take out the server, remove the FC 16 GB HBA cards from the mezzanine slots.
- Insert the FC 32 GB into the mezzanine slot.
- Insert the server into the bay
- Apply a new server profile to match the new hardware.
Are those steps correct?
Thanks.

SolutionHi,
Yes, you got the steps correct.
The last step however might need some additional steps.
Once the server is put back in the frame with the new (different) FC card model, the 'server hardware type' will not be the same!
You can either edit the existing server profile to match the new server hardware type, or create a new profile (as per your conveniance).
