Hi! We are running a three node VM Essentials cluster. What is the best way to do an in-place upgrade from 8.0.4 to 8.0.5, both the hosts and the VM Manager? Thanks!

SolutionThe way to upgrade the manager is detailed in the official documentation in this link:
Getting Started тАФ HPE VM Docs documentation
As a summary, you need to first get the upgrade .deb package, upload it to the manager VM (I usually just SCP it inside) and run the required commands:
- morpheus-ctl stop morpheus-ui (stop the manager service)
- apt install -f /path/to/deb/package (upgrade to newest version)
- morpheus-ctl reconfigure (finishes the upgrade)
The documentation points to an additional "supplemental" package that is needed when the manager doesn't have internet access to pull the updated dependencies.
Afer your manager is in 8.0.5, you just need to go to your hosts in the manager an Update the agent in the hosts.

Hello
Upgrade package can be download from portal who have valid support contract.
