Error when creating a Windows virtual machine
When creating a Windows Server 2025 virtual machine on VME, the error message
“Failed to create server volumes: Failed to clone volume: qemu-img: /mnt/a83d51f3-e798-4f3c-b75f-02cd 3373ef03/ws2025/hpevm_15-disk-0: Failed to get “resize” lock Is another process using the image [/mnt/a83d51f3-e798-4f3c-b75f-02cd3373ef03/ws 2025/hpevm_15-disk-0]?” is displayed.
I would like to resolve this error message, but I don't know what to do.

Hi MK_J
Thanks for the quick reply.
This is a remote session, but I can only speak Japanese.
What should I do?

Hi MK_J.
I guess I can handle a chat room conversation.

Re: Error when creating a Windows virtual machine
Hi MK_J.
At any rate, after reconfiguring NFS, I can now create virtual machines on VME as long as they are “qcow2” type images.
But when I try to create a virtual machine from an “ISO” image, I get an error message “Image is not in qcow2 format” and cannot create the virtual machine.
Is there a restriction that I can only create a virtual machine on an NFS datastore from a “qcow2” image?
