Cisco AP AIR1242AG in Autonomous Mode are not getting displayed in WSM.

Hi Everyone.

We have a client where we are implementing HP IMC 7.1 Enterprise Version with WSM module.

The Client has all Cisco wireless Access Points in Autonomous Mode in their Network, all these AP have proper SNMP strings and are classified as Wireless devices in the devices Page.

but in WSM FAT AP list, these devices are not displayed and i cannot get any details of SSID, users connected to each SSID and so On.

All these AP's are on IOS Version 12.4(10b).

Does any one have any idea about the compatibility of Cisco AP in Autonomous Mode with IMC?

Anyone has faced similar issue and have a solution for the same?

My understanding is that the Cisco AP support only includes Thin/Fit Cisco APs. I don't think that Autonomous Cisco APs are fully supported under WSM. You can monitor them in the same way as a router or switch, but not do full wireless management.
