Default login type after added by autodiscovery?

Configuring the auto discovery there is an option to specify what method the process will use when trying to connect to a discovered device, SSH or SNMP (login type). However we cannot specify more than one of our SSH templates so how do we know/control which access template gets associated with the new device?
