FAIL to start IMC install 5.0. MSSQL listen TCP1434 and IMC Install check 1433

Hi every one.

I am triying to setup a demo version of imc 5.0.  on windows 2008 64 bits and MSSQLSERVER 2008 R2

the install program starts but it is unable to connect to the data base because it tries to connect to tcp  port1433 and i am running the SQL server in the tcp port 1434

i cant wonder why 2008 R2 SQL server listen in tcp 1434 instead of 1433 like other versions.

Does anyone know how to change this behaviour on IMC install program or MS SQL server?

hi all, in mssqlserver2008 R2 (both express and others versions) the TCPIP protocols ARE DISABLED BY DEFAULT so you have to go to SQL SERVER CONFIGURATION MANAGER, go to SQL SERVER NETWORK CONFIGURATION and PROTOCOLS FOR YOUR INSTANCE, and ENABLE TCP/IP...

it solves it.
