Ignore IMC Alarm for specific VLAN
We constantly get the following alert for the DEFAULT VLAN on a set of switches where that vlan (vlan 1) is not used for anything. Thus I don't care about the alert and wish for it to be ignored. How do I do that?
Alarm:
NMS: 172.X.X.X
Trap of Source: SWITCH NAME(IP OF SWITCH)
Location: Hall 1
Contact: Chris XXXXXX
Trap Name: IP Address of Device Interface Changed
Severity: Major
Trap Time: 2018-06-27 23:00:15
Description: IP of interface "DEFAULT_VLAN" changed from N/A to "172.x.x.x\255.255.0.0."
I see how I can add these switches to a trap filter and filter all the alerts based on the trap name however that will mean I won't see alerts of this type for the vlans i DO care about. I just want to ignore this for the Default_Vlan (vlan 1). What am I missing?
