IMC 7.3 - Authentication via Access Directory with security groups

Hi everyone,

I am configuring LDAP Server authentication via Microsoft Active Directory. as it is supported by IMC 7.3.

However I came across with this issue:

I have not managed to authenticate a user which is within a group.  The only way I successfully log in is by setting the string of the user (bit Not the string of the group where this user is as well)

i.e.

THis is the string for the group (which does not work for me)

CN=IMC Group,OU=Security Groups,OU=Users,DC=test,DC=com

IMC Group contains the IMC users (ext-user, for below example).

however if I set the string of the user itself then it works:

CN=ext-user,OU=External,OU=Users,DC=test,DC=com

To point out that I set up this in System > Authentication Server > "Advanced Settings" > Synchronize LDAP Operator

So I have some doubts if IMC supports Security Groups.

If anybody could advice, it would be very appreciated.

Thanks,

You have a space in the querry (OU=Security Groups).  I'm not shure that IMC support it. You can try %20 insteed (i.e. Security%20Groups)

Hi Pablo,

Thanks for that but it does not seems to be due to the spaces.

Any other idea?

Thanks,
