IMC email alerting

Hi,

I get critical alerts but how do i set up specific alerts to emailed to me. At the moment it is sending all alerts. I would like to able to add specific ports/interface when they go down to email me. I am using version 7.3 E0705P06,

I am more used to earlier versions and cannot seem to find my way around this version for this easy task

Hi @prodigy811 

Under Alarm >> Alarm Settings >> Alarm Notification >> Email Notification, you can add a rule, by selecting only Critical alarms, and under 'Concerned alarms' you may select 'Selected Alams' and select the alarm based on trap name, trap OID etc.

Many thanks for getting back to me. How do I get the correct OID, there are loads. Im looking to set up alerts when ports go down and when thresholds go above 70-80% etc?

Hi @prodigy811 

If you navigate to Alarm >> Alarm Browse and select any Link UP or Down event, you should be able to find the OID
