Local dot1x authentication on 5800 comware 5

Hi Guys,

I am trying to configure dot1x authentication (wired) on 5800 running comware 5.

I have checked the configuration guide and did the configuration. When i connect my laptop, i do get username/password prompt but it doesnt get authenticated

I am using windows 7 and selected protected EAP. Disabled validate server certificates and under authentication mode, i have selected MSCHAPv2 and disabled automatically use windows credentials.

Please someone tell me that can we do local dot1x authentication ? some has tried it ?

what am i missing ?
