syslog DB size

I did the steps here: http://community.hpe.com/t5/IMC/Syslog-and-NTA-database-space-used/m-p/6132077#M742

it didn't seem to do anything for me. 

Currently our syslog database is full (285.87 / 286.94 MB). This is a problem since that translates into about 192 events in the syslog view on our IMC. 

We are using MS SQL Express 2008 R2, which, if I am understanding correctly, should allow us to increase that size to 10GB (OK even if its a sum of all the DBs, we are still only hovering around the 1 GB mark). 

Can anyone provide steps on how to increase this limit?
