Unable to delete an AP
Hi,
Running iMC PLAT 7.0 (E0202).
I have changed the subnet of the subnet the APs get an IP-address from.
However in iMC one of the APs is still considered to have its old ip-address
and is of course considered off-line.
I 've tried to delete, remove and rediscover this AP but this fails.
Is there another way to get this done?
Thanx Jaap

Re: Unable to delete an AP
Are you trying to monitor the APs directly through IMC? or are you using the WSM add-on?

Re: Unable to delete an AP
OK, so you shouldn't be discovering the APs directly through IMC. You should only need to discover the MSM, and then the APs should show up. When you change things at an MSM level, it should be reflected in the APs displayed in IMC.

Re: Unable to delete an AP
Hi Lindsay/Thunder,
You 're right Lindsay, iMC should reflect the information the MSM has. But iMC doesn't update the ip-address info the MSM has for this AP right-now.
Thunder - Because iMC doesn't have the correct ip-address no succesful action can be taken towards this AP.

Re: Unable to delete an AP
Hi,
The AP after 4 days is now presented with the right ip-adres in iMC.......
No clue why it took so long.
