Which port should we send netflow data in HP IMC
HI,
I have some cisco ISR where i enabled netflow. Can anyone guide me to which port can i send the traffic, so that i can view those in my dashboard.
The help guide is of no use for Net flow. Any step by step proceedure would be apreciated.
Regards,
Nithish.

Re: Which port should we send netflow data in HP IMC
After you deploy and setup your NTA, the default port is 9996.

Re: Which port should we send netflow data in HP IMC
Hi Aaron,
Thanks for your reply, also addtionally do i need to configure anything on NTA server? If i just send traffic to NTA server to port number 9996, would this populate data in my server.
Thanks,
Nithish.

Re: Which port should we send netflow data in HP IMC
NTA can be fairly DiskIO and CPU intensive, depending on how many devices and flows it has to go through. Most people setup a seperate NTA box. But, it can run on the same box as iMC.
Check out Chris Young's video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-TG8fpbxRv8
Or, I wrote up a how to for Juniper. But, steps 1-7 show the setup for iMC: http://www.netopscommunity.net/knowledge-center/-/wiki/Main/Configure+Juniper+SFlow+for+HP+iMC
