How do I change the serial number/product in Remote Support AMC

Installed SIM 6.2 and Advanced Remote Support 5.50. No problems.
On checking the backend AMC found that the SIM server had registered for the customer correctly, but Serial number and product number were incorrect.
Found that they were incorrect in the BIOS for the server. Corrected in the BIOS.
SIM and Webes updated ok with correct serial and product number.
But even after a re-register with backend AMC, the old numbers are still in the backend.
This causes hassles, as the HP warranty check sees the invalid numbers, and drops the case.
How can I re-enter the correct values for the registered SIM server, as it is a new server, and does have valid warranty.

A workaround for your problem could be to edit the system properties of your server inside SIM. You need to fill out the customer entered serial number and customer entered product number field. I would try a warranty check afterwards and a "wccproxy test" to be sure that the events will be forwarded to HP.
