HP SIM 6.0 and warranty/support contract managment

I have just installed HP SIM 6.0 on Linux. I would like to know if it's possible to retrieve information about HP support contract linked to my servers directly from HP database.

Hi,

probably yes, you need to install/setup the RSSWM module. I saiyd 'probably' because I assume linux and windows sim environments would be quite similar (as I use sim on windows server)

RSSWM is part of SIM 6 installation but in my case it didn't work out of the box. I had to download and install Remote Support Advanced

No it is not possible for you to install the Insight Remote Support package. Per the attached Release Notes it can ONLY be installed on a Windows product.
