Re: ISEE Model 1, 2, 3 Pros and Cons?
More info can be found in this document:
http://ftp.hp.com/pub/services/hardware/info/isee_client.pdf
Have a look at page 14 and 15.
Model 3 is probably the most easy model to implement (no client installation), but therefor lacks the possibility to run
so called MAP's (scripts that run to get additional configuration information from the managed system).

Re: ISEE Model 1, 2, 3 Pros and Cons?
Dary,
In addition (to A. van Berk's excellent answer) model 3 has further limitations beyond no MAP support. Model 3 does not support:
1) Configuration collections from ISEE monitored Clients.
2) Web browser ISEE Client interface that permits you to configure the Client and view incidents on the client.
Simplicity comes with a price.
Take care,
frank

Hi Dary,
Model 1:
Advantages:
1. Maps can be run on clients.
2. Entitlements can be made individually.
Disadvantage:
1. Has to be installed in all clients individually.
Model 2:
disadvantages:
1. Supports proliant, integrity & NSS storage devices only.
Model 3:
Advantage :
1. Is used for clients where the ISEE cannot be installed.
regards,
Krishna
