ISEE on ALPHA

Hi,

As per ISEE user guide , WEBES is required to install ISEE.

I am trying to install ISEE from Tools CD vol-1 May2004, after installation of ISEE it has also installed WEBESPROXY100 component. Does it mean that I dont require to install other WEBES component or do I need ?

I want exact requirement for ISEE 3.5o on ALPHA Tru64 unix, as documents are confusing. My customer dont want to load any extra software if it is not required for ISEE.

Hi Kirit,

For all newer Alpha systems WEBES/SEA is necessary for probplem recognition and alarming. Activate ISEE communication in WEBES/SEA, that SEA is able to communicate with the ISEE client. The ISEE client communicates with HP only.
Both tools must run on the same system, incl. WWCproxy.
