ISEE server starts, but cannot connect
Hi all,
we have a SPOP Server based on Windows 2000 for many HP-UX clients.
Last week, suddendly, SPOP Server went down (from Event Viewer logs: "Unexpected Shutdown"): since that, we can no more connect to port 8080, which answers: "connection refused".
We also tried from PC keyboard on the SPOP (telnet 127.0.0.1 8080) with same results.
Firewall settings are compatible (Filter settings under Windows 2000 too).
We still don't find any useful information from any logs.
Any ideas?
I fear we need to reinstall ISEE.
Thank you very much for your attention.
Best Regards
Roberto Arcomano

Re: ISEE server starts, but cannot connect
Hi,
Most likely Motive Server is not running.
Try to start it up in Services, then logon again.
There are 2 logs you can view to determine the problem: server.log and motserv.log

Re: ISEE server starts, but cannot connect
I solved my problem: there was an authentication problem (if user is wrong, ISEE doesn't permit access from anywhere, localhost too).
Thank you anyway for your attention!
