ISEE undelivered?
Running WEBES v5.4 (build 35) and I am getting status Undelivered:ISEE, Delivered:SMTP, LOG on all outgoing notifications. ISEE notifications are enabled and I can connect to http://isee.americas.hp.com/mots/motserv from a web browser so there isn't any connectivity issues going out on port 80. Any ideas what the issue may be?

Re: ISEE undelivered?
Hi Jeremy,
ISEE will be retired this summer.
Try to use IRS (Insight Remote Support) instead of ISEE. Documentation is available on:
http://docs.hp.com/en/netsys.html#Insight%20Remote%20Support
For a bigger number of monitored devices (RSP) Remote Support Pack can be used.
Regards, Werner

Re: ISEE undelivered?
Yesterday I learned that HP speaks still about ISEE internaly, and WEBES also does.
This means, ISEE is not yet dead, just the ISEE client on the OS!
I also noticed, that WEBES sometimes is not able to deliver events for some unkown, probably "internal" reason. I could not resolve that problem without booting the WEBES/SIM server. Maybe it's enough to restart the WEBES service? You should send some test events afterwards...
My 2 cents,
Armin

And now for something completely different...

Re: ISEE undelivered?
As it turns out the issue with connectivity was related to the IP HP uses for services.isee.hp.com (15.216.12.255). We had some legacy access list rules designed to control broadcast traffic that prevented us from accessing a remote IP ending in 255.
