Setting up ISEE on a Proliant with a SAN attached
Can I find a specific set of instructions for setting up ISEE on a Proliant DL380 running MS windows 2003 connected on a SAN(VA7410 and DS2405 Through Mc Data switches). I believe that I require the following installed on the server.
Insight Manager ver 7
OSEM ver 1.3.1
ISEE ver 3.5
VAEH 1.02
Is this all I require?
Are there any gotchas I should be aware of?
Many thanks
Robbie

Re: Setting up ISEE on a Proliant with a SAN attached
Hi Robbie,
Yes these are all the components you require. I would just suggest installing ISEE first, then the VAEH component. Check that you get the VA installation event in the web interface. Then do OSEM and Insight Manager 7. Again, check everything is working by generating test incidents or pulling out hardware.
This is the location of the full users guide if you require it.
