SIM notification to HP

Is there a document that describes what needs to be done to enable notification to HP for any hardware failures?
What ports need to be opened?
What need to be installed/configured on SIM?
Is this a chargeable service?

The service is free but your monitored systems need to be under contract or warranty.

The product you're looking for is named Insight Remote Support Advanced which is a plug-in to SIM. It takes some time to make it work everything reliably but it is a very useful tool. I highly recommend it.
