Testing hardware failures received by Service Provider
Hi - i have set up the RSP and configured the Providers with our 3rd party company so that they contact us in the event of a hardware failure instead of HP. I would like to know if the process is working by generating a fault that will go via HP, to our Provider and then see if they contact us - does anyone know how to perform such a test ? Thanks in advance

Re: Testing hardware failures received by Service Provider
If you have Proliant DL 3xx HW and redundant power supplies you can unplug one power cable.
You should also get a local email from WEBES if the configuration was correct. After the email you can plug in the power cable again.
If you do not have Proliant please let us know for which hw platform you plan the test.
