WEBES Configuration on HP-UX 11.11
Gentlemen:
Why am I not able to set these parameters to true? I see that my commands have updated the necessary files...
I am trying to set enableSubscriptionsForNonprivilegedUsers and enableRemotePrivilegedUserAccess to false over here. I tried restarting cimserver after that.
sccsoidr(root):/sbin/init.d:# cimconfig -l -c
enableAuditLog=false
sslClientVerificationMode=disabled
enableSubscriptionsForNonprivilegedUsers=false
shutdownTimeout=30
authorizedUserGroups=
enableRemotePrivilegedUserAccess=true
enableHttpsConnection=true
enableNamespaceAuthorization=false
enableHttpConnection=false
sccsoidr(root):/sbin/init.d:# cat /var/opt/wbem/cimserver_planned.conf

Re: WEBES Configuration on HP-UX 11.11
Try this again:
cimconfig -s enableSubscriptionsForNonprivilegedUsers=false -p
You should see:
Planned value for the property enableSubscriptionsForNonprivilegedUsers is set to "false" in CIMServer.
Run: cimconfig -l -p to check, then stop/start cimserver.
Remember -c is current, -p is planned.
