Why is it not possible to install Insight RSA on a virtual system which is not an HP Proliant?
The environment which should be monitored is a Blade environment with VCEM.
All Blades are HP but all rack mount servers are non-HP.
As the HP SIM with the VCEM should not be installed on a server within the enclosure it manages (due to the VCEM) it can only be installed on one of the non-HP Servers. If it is a virtual machine - can the non-HP server be used and if not, why

Re: Why is it not possible to install Insight RSA on a virtual system which is not an HP Proliant?
Hi Frauke,
The issue with this support is the same as your other post about VMotion primarily that it has not been qualified by HP. The primary concern is around the device identifiers of the Central Management Server not being correct, and not having enough resources to qualify on non-HP hardware.
