Boot from SAN problem RHEL AS 4 U3 On rx2620

Having a problem booting from SAN EVA5000 with the RX2620. In short, the SAN boot disk sucessfully builds using the Redhat operating system CD's. At the end of the installation the procedure asks for a reboot, the boot manager comes up showing the Redhat boot path and fails to find the boot.

I have create a single path zone, with one target port and the server hba. I suspect somehow the HBA does not enable SAN Boot. It is a AB379A Qlogic. The fw is updated.

I have also created a local disk with RH and the EVA can be seen when the local disk is booted.

It have used these commands with no success:

drivers -b
devtree -b
drvcfg -s <> <>
reconnect -r
map

Still the san disk can't be seen.

Any insight would be appreciated.

You might need to put the boot lun entry in the HBA NVRAM which could done with the help of HBA configuration protocol's driver.
