Cannot boot from DVD drive
I am new to hp-ux world
I have rx7620 machine, I am trying to boot the machine from the dvd drive but i can not find an entry in the EFI for it, what should I do??

If the DVD entry is not there in the boot option, you need to add it.

At EFI menu you manually need to add entry for DVD Rom

At the EFI screen choose Load from a File, that shoul dthen shoqw the DVD

But the Load from a file shows only the Network adapter (network Boot).

What DVD is it (contents)?

The internal DVD is connected to cell1 only.

The internal DVD is per default connected to the core I/O of cell 1.
You have only cell 0, hence the DVD is not connected.
If you plan to reinstall the system, you should consider to swap the cell position.
