Dual MP config for rx8620
Hello,
I have a 2 partition 8620 that has redundant MP cards in the chassis. I have a few questions:
1. Does the MP config get written to both MPs (in the event of failuer)?
2. How does one go about testing MP Failover? The environment I work in requires test execution plans for *everything* ... including MP failover
Well, I guess I have 2 questions to start with.
Thanks for all responses.

Re: Dual MP config for rx8620
1. Todd, yes the config gets written to both MPs.
2. To swap MPs, you need to go to the MP main menu, enter the CM command to get to the CM prompt, then enter the XD command. Option 9 will swap MP's for you. Don't forget to swap your lan cable to the new Master.
I hope this helps.
Good Luck - Tim

Re: Dual MP config for rx8620
I have both MP's already cabled up, anticipating a failover situation.
I will give this a try and see how it works. I have to wait for the next outage window to test it.
Thanks for the input.
