I just completed a complete firmware upgrade on two rx8620 and I'm glad I had HP here to do the upgrade. It was kind of complicated. You have to do parstat and parmodify commands. We also had a failed back-plane during the install of a new Cell Board. So as stated above I would check on having HP perform the upgrade.
