rx2600 server MP console is not visible

Hi,
I have a mp card in my server.there is no vga card.if I start the server.server is coming up without any issue.but i could not see the console through mp.if i connect the seriel cable on the seriel port.I can see the display.if anybody faced the same pls help me.

Where did you connect the cable?
There is a serial port labeled "console", but if a MP is installed the console port is on the 3-end-black-W-cable - use this one.

BTW, the MP has a VGA on-board.

To check the console settings, stop the boot process at the boot menu and check the console (input/output device) settings.

Hi All,
Even if the Mp card is there,server is not showing the proper output devices in the boot option maintenance menu.I replaced the Systemboard twice And Mp card once.but still the same issue.I am attaching the screen shots.

Strange, the firmware info is showing the MP but the in/output settings page does not.

I would suggest to contact HP support to get the issue resolved.

Maybe it helps to check the connection between the MP card and the systemboard again.
Anyway, calling HP will help you.
