Hi, i have a rx2620 that shutdowns every 3-5 days. I do not have any warnings from EMS, and the logs from MP (SL), does not show me anything. from syslog.log no record. do you know where else i can look for errors, or is there any config file i can turn on for this problem. (my /etc/syslog.conf has an entry like *.* /var/adm/syslog/syslog.log).
TIA,
./antonio/.

Solution
could you attach your shutdownlog in /var/adm/crash?
also, check if there are some crashes created on /var/adm/crash, there should be at least one crash generated for every reboot(check the date of the file), also check the contents and dates of the files on /var/adm/tombstones.
if you have files created there, please let me know.
regards,
Mynor Aguilar

Re: rx2620 shutdown
first check the /etc/shutdownlog to check if there is a system panic. if there is none, check the MP>SL logs. if both don't indicate anything, very likely it's a power related issue. you might want to install a ups to confirm this?
