RX4640, Windows, and a Storagetek D280 SAN
Hi Folks,
I have a customer that wants to connect an rx4640 to a D280 Storagetek SAN. This is supposedly supported with HPux using the LP1050, but I need to know if it is supported with Windows. They ultimately would like to use a Qlogic QLA-2460CK card, but the LP1050 would probably be ok as well. Can someone please help me here?
Thanks
John

Yes, but is it supported on an RX4640 IA64 Integrity box connecting to the D280?

Re: RX4640, Windows, and a Storagetek D280 SAN
Looking at the third-party mass storage and tape device interoperability matrix for HPUX on rx4640, StorageTek D280 is
supported.
http://www.hp.com/products1/serverconnectivity/mass_storage_devices.html#storagetek_ds
I don't see such matrix for Windows on Integrity servers published by HP or StorageTek or Microsoft.
You might want to contact StorageTek and HP to confirm about official support.
