SQL 64bit problems

Friends,

I have a 4640 connected to a EVA 5000. Win 2003 64bit.

On an irregular basis SQL can no longer insert records. We have the latest drivers installed and firmware. It doesn't seem to be a EVA problem as the other servers aren't having issues. It generally requires a reboot to fix and wont happen for 24hr to 30 days.

This is massive system for us and causing big headaches.

Is there some magic words I should use for support calls on this?

We get nothing in the event viewer when this happens - we can only tell because in perfmon disk write is maxed out for the drive on the EVA.
