Superdome with USB drive connection?
Is it possible to connect an external USB drive to a Superdome for file copy or connect the USB drive to another server and mount it and copy the file systems from the superdome over that way if it would work. Thx in advance.

Re: Superdome with USB drive connection?
hi,
i think that's not possible, the Superdoem doesn't have USB.
you oculd copy the data wia network,
NFS share or rsync ( tar / cpio ) over SSH, for example.

Re: Superdome with USB drive connection?
Does this really makes sense? IMHO no.
There is AFAIR an optional card with USB connectors, but USB devices other than keyboard, mouse and DVD will work with windows/linux only.
With HP-UX USB harddisk drives are currently NOT supported at all.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

Re: Superdome with USB drive connection?
Thx all,
I am thinking of connecting the USB drive to a window system then use PCNFS to export the drive via NFS, so that the SD can mount it as a mountpoint. Hope this works.
