why is the sas driver now outside of the standard bundles in hpux aaiv3

Hi,

It appears that the new drivers for the sas controllers is now a dedicated bundle available from the software site or from the OE (not checked). But why those bundles are not in the QPK Patch ? It's a standard component in server as bl860 and others, so why move it on another site ?

This is called business unit decision or something like this, because components like this are independent software units since some years. Patches are patching installed versions, updates are updating to newer versions (for most components inside the OS).

The install and update manual will tell you all the details.
