Error messages and freezing problems
I have a HP Pavillion 8650c Series. My problem is I have Yahoo Messenger, and everytime I go to yahoo games and play a game and I have messenger on I eventually get booted and get an error message. This happens every night about 2 or 3 times sometimes more. Something about WAC caused an error. It totally freezes my machine and turns the screen completly white. I can't do anything, the only way I can shut it down is by turning it off on the tower and totally rebooting. I dunno if it's caused by yahoo or not, but everyone else that I know that has messenger and play games there don't have that problem. I'm wondering if it's something with my computer. Could someone please help me with this, it is very frusterating...Thanx!!

Re: Error messages and freezing problems
You didn't mention what operating system you are running. I was running ME on my machine, when one of my kids loaded Yahoo messenger onto the system, I immediately started having lockups on the system. Don't know if there is some kind or incompatibility between MSN messenger and Yahoo messenger, but that was my experience. You may try uninstalling one or the other to see if that corrects the problem. Once I uninstalled Yahoo messenger, my system went back to normal. Hope this helps.
